Disney is preparing to remove the CALIFORNIA letters that stand t the entrance of Disney California Adventure, as it continues to reconstruct the entrance area, part of the $1-billion makeover the park is getting. So if you want to get that last photo of the letters, now is the time to do it. According to the “OC Register”, the removal process with begin Jan 4th.

According to the Disney Parks Blog, the company plank to save the giant letters for “Possible Future Use”.
I like the letters. It was different and unique to the park. The future entrance isn’t unique or special. It’s just copying something they already have in Florida. I will especially miss the C.
I like the letters too. Instead of getting rid of them, they should add Disney characters to them like they have it for the holidays, with Mickey on the C and Goofy on the A (I believe).
