From OC Register:
Disneyland visitors can see an exclusive 3D movie clip of the upcoming “Pirates of the Caribbean” film starting March 25, Disney announced Tuesday.
The park plans to host nighttime, preview shows in advance of the release of “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,” the fourth film in the series based on Disneyland’s Pirates of the Caribbean ride. The “Pirates” movie, once again starring Johnny Depp, of course, is due in theaters May 20.
Disneyland visitors can see the “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides – Sneak Peek” in the Festival Arena in Frontierland. The line is along Big Thunder Trail near the ranch and arena.
Seating or standing will be on the ground to watch the 15-minute show, which includes the 3D movie preview and a live performance, said John McClintock, a Disneyland Resort spokesman.
The shows are scheduled mostly for weekend nights through May 30. But they will run seven nights a week from April 15 to May 1, during the busy Easter and spring breaks.
The shows are expected to appear between four and five times nightly, taking breaks during fireworks and other times, McClintock said. Visitors should check daily schedules for exact times.
This isn’t the first time that a “Pirates 4″ sneak peek has appeared at the Disneyland Resort. In December, contest winners and guests were treated to the debut of the movie trailer at the AMC 12 Theatres in Downtown Disney. Disneyland also is expected to host the red-carpet movie premiere of “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,” as it has for the three previous films. Disney has yet to announce a date, but MiceAge.com is reporting that the premiere is set for May 7.
