Great episode even though some dates were off. The future themed captain eo and star tours were done because California locals Jackson and Lucas did it below rate for their local Tomorrowland. WDW was NOT first. In fact MGM studios at WDW didn’t even open until 2 full years after Star Tours opened, and I think they added it a year or two after it opened giving the lacking park a desperately needed boost. But It was designed to replace mission to mars that was closed a year after it opened.
I saw magic journeys at Disneyland with its haunting music. The thing the crowd loved most, and that was in the TV commercial was the witch wiggling her fingers in the camera. This was copied but was not as good by the queen in EO. Try to find magic journeys online, since it is made to exaggerate the world to show it from a kid’s perspective, it’s really trippy.
When you get to the Space Mountain music remember to say they picked Dick Dale since his music was recently featured as the main tune in pulp fiction.
Circlevision was skipped. The adding of projectors over the years and the china and retro 60’s films played near its end.
Finally, America sings was way better than that carousel of progress snoozfest. I was so board with corporate America telling me how great their products make my life that I wanted to stick my head in the oven at that blatant kitchen showroom at the end.
