I get that the price was probably shocking for a lot of people but I think the DLR is really generous in how many different ticket and payment options they give you guys. Not only can you choose between different kinds of annual passes but you can pay in divided payments. You also get tons of discounts and DLR seems to have great parades, shows, and seasonal events for pass holders.
If it makes you feel better at TDR we get no discounts, no freebies. We can choose between a two park annual pass or one park annual pass for TDL or TDS. The price is 80,000yen/ about 1008$ for the 2 park and we have to pay in one shot. Personally we think it’s a fair price for the experience we get and to be honest if the price was a lot lower crowds would be even more crazy than they are right now.
It was interesting to hear about it from your perspective though and am looking forward to the next show!
